"WHERE IS GOD?"

"The Word was in the world, and though God made the world through him, yet the world did not recognize him. He came to his own country, but his own people did not receive him" (John 1:10-11).

Amidst the recurring conflicts, disasters, injustices and atrocities widespread in the world - and because of the recent revival of fire between Russia and the West, over Ukraine - many people are anxiously and desperately asking the question: "WHERE IS GOD?" This post answers the question: Why is the world at war - human beings against human beings, and nations against nations? It takes us into the Bible to know the will of God, the origin of war, and what we can do to make the world without war.

FREE AND IMPARTIAL 

I write this post in total freedom and impartiality and with deep respect for all human beings - created in the image of God. In proclaiming the Truth, I sincerely wish to contribute by this Truth, to the attainment of true and lasting peace and stability throughout the world, and for all human beings. This is the will of God. 

"The Lord said to me, “Mortal man, prophesy. Tell the people what I, the Lord, am saying: A sword, a sword is sharpened and polished. It is sharpened to kill,  polished to flash like lightning. There can be no rejoicing, for my people have disregarded every warning and punishment.The sword is being polished, to make it ready for use. It is sharpened and polished, to be put in the hands of a killer." (Ezekiel 21:8-11)

THE WAR IN UKRAINE 

The first attack of Russia on Ukraine was on 20 February 2014  leading to the annexation of Crimea. The latest full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia was on 24 February 2022. Backing Ukraine are NATO, USA, EU, UK, Germany. Backing Russia are Belarus, Donetsk and Luhanst. The conflict is engineered by Russian President - Vladimir Putin. 

The Manchester Evening News reports as follows:

(1) Ukrainian government reported  on March 2, that over 2.000 civilians had died in a week of war with Russia. 

(2) Russian government reported that 498 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine, with 1.597 wounded.

THE ORIGIN OF WAR 

The ongoing Russian - Ukrainian war is only a case study, here. For Russia is not the only dictatorship, nor is Ukraine the only battlefield and slaughter house of unarmed and innocent civilians in the world - there are so many others around us. In fact, it is not really Russia or Putin, per se, but the forces of opposition to the Savior - born through the Virgin Mary - that are fighting to stop the spread of Christianity in the world. This is what is written: "The dragon was furious with the woman and went off to fight against the rest of her descendants, all those who obey God's commandments and are faithful to the truth revealed by Jesus". (Revelation 12:17). 

THE DRAGON IS FURIOUS 

But why is the fury of the dragon going  unstoppable against the children of God? The answer is that the people whom God chose first and to whom he also revealed himself, have rejected him and his commandments - why God allows their enemies to triumph. So it is written :

"This then is what I, the Sovereign Lord, am saying: Your sins are exposed. Everyone knows how guilty you are. You show your sins in your every action. You stand condemned, and I will hand you over to your enemies." (Ezekiel 21:24). 

DISREGARD FOR GOD

The West is speedily losing her privilege to lead the world  because she has gone blind, by ignoring the Word of God (John 1:10-11). and a blind man cannot lead another blind man (Luke 6:39). Where are the might and power that the West had when she still held Christian values in high esteem?  The name of God was conspicuously ommiited in the 1787 US Cconstitution, in gross disregard for God, whom the founders of the Union and champions of the American War of Independence had acknowledged 200 times in the 1776 act of Declaration of Independence - as the Maker of their victory and the Giver of their freedom from the British colonists. 

THE ARROGANT TENANT

The is like the story of a tenant who chased away his landlord and arrogated to himself the ownership of the property. Then the time came when the building and its foundation was being shaken by the storms and earthquakes, which the usurper can neither prevent nor resist. Finally, the danger of death came near, and the usurper was going to lose both the building and his own life. The only option he had was to acknowledge the house owner - to whom he surrendered himself and the building. The benevolent house owner fortified the foundation  against earthquakes, the walls against the storms and put a new roof for the tenant to live in safely.

DUTY OF THE WEST

Before God, the West owes a greater responsibility world  peace and stability than does Russia and other Eastern nations. This is because the former has already received Christianity - and as the scripture says: "From whom much is given, much is also expected" (Luke 12:48). The West is expected to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16). But as we know, a false notion of freedom and liberty is leading both the people and the leaders astray. This is what is written :

"Someone will say, “I am allowed to do anything.” Yes; but not everything is good for you. I could say that I am allowed to do anything, but I am not going to let anything make me its slave. Don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourselves but to God; he bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God's glory." (1 Corinthians 6 :12, 19-20)

SUBMIT TO GOD

In view of this, therefore, all politics, economics, sciences, technologies and the arts - as well as l skills and talents - must be made to serve God,  and to glorify his name. Think about this:  Let's say that you are a house owner. How would you treat a student to whom you grant free housing - while he pursues his studies - and provides a gas stove for him to cook and eat:  but who knowingly  and intentionally uses the gas and stove, instead, to burn down your property?  Would you spare him or punish him?  

If you agree with me that the tenant of a house is free to put the house only to the use permitted by the house owner - this is part of the real estate law -  then you should understand why God is furious, when we put our bodies, skills, talents and material blessings to uses which he has forbidden. These are false liberties! For how can we enforce human laws while at the same time ignoring the divine laws of the same nature? Surely, when this truth will be finally interiorized we would see the God we are asking for - in the fullness of his glory. 

YOU KNOW THE TRUTH 

The responsibility lies, now, with the natural, elected and appointed leaders of the world - for the Truth is revealed here, and you would never be able to claim that you did not know it.  If you fail to heed to the Word of God both heaven and earth would hold you responsible for the pains and sufferings of the world. This truth is that Christianity is the only system which can unite the whole world together (Ephesians 2:14-16). This is so because it is not a racial culture but a celestial system that encompasses all the merits of unity, justice and peace, together with their means of attainment. 

GOD IS SUPREME

Unless and until the people and leaders of the West accept the truth, which is that the commandments and teachings of God surpass and overrule all human laws, rights and liberties - and faithfully apply them - peace will not reign in the world. And in the delay the West would continue to lose power and influence in the world. Just consider how many acts of sin against God have been legalized  - in the name of human liberties - by Western countries. The Bible tells how these sinful acts provoke the anger of God against the Christian nations of the West.  This is what is written :

"Howl in grief, mortal man; this sword is meant for my people and for all the leaders of Israel. They are going to be killed with all the rest of my people. Beat your breast in despair! I am testing my people and if they refuse to repent, all these things will happen to them." (Ezekiel 21:12-13). 

REPENT AND SURRENDER

The solution is to repent and turn back to God - and he will fight against your enemies and give you victory. The real enemy is not Russia but the Satanic powers that set up wars to shed blood in the world. If the west seeks the face of God - by repentance, confession, penance and prayer - God will vanquish the dragon and free his people, both in the West and in the East. As it is written :

"The Lord says, “Listen to me, you that want to be saved, you that come to me for help. Think of the rock from which you came the quarry from which you were cut. Listen to me, my people, listen to what I say: I give my teaching to the nations; my laws will bring them light. I will come quickly and save them; the time of my victory is near. I myself will rule over the nations. Distant lands wait for me to come; they wait with hope for me to save them." (Isaiah 51:1,4-5). 

CONVERT  RUSSIA

So do not expect, or ask, God to destroy the people of Russia or even Vladimir Putin - they are God's people as well. But but what God wants is to use the West to covert the East so that all his people may be united with him through Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:16). That is what Jesus Christ said: 

"There are other sheep which belong to me that are not in this sheep pen. I must bring them, too; they will listen to my voice, and they will become[a] one flock with one shepherd." (John 10:16)

CONSECRATE RUSSIA 

Thus the request of the Virgin Mary, as Our Lady of Fatima - in July 1917 and June 1929 - to consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart for conversion (Lucia Speaks, WAF, 2007) concurs with the will of God. In her Fatima apparitions of 1917, she revealed herself first to the 3 shepherd children - Lucia, Jacenta and Francesco  - and then to the multitudes. She came to admonish people to "stop offending the Lord Jesus, because he is already too offended by the sins of the world. This also concurs with what she had said to the servants at the wedding in Cana,"Do whatever he tells you" (John 2:5).

YOUR OWN DUTY

If you are reading this post, it's good to take it as your own duty to share it as wide as you can, especially to those who are in positions of power and authority in the world - be it political, scientific social, technological or artistic power. 

If we reject the truth, for any reason, we postpone the attainment of peace as well, meanwhile the  state of the world continues to degrade. And until we accept the Truth, and act in conformity, the world is doomed - for only the truth can set us free. This is what is written:

"So Jesus said to those who believed in him, “If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples; you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8 :31-32). 

WITNESS TO CHRIST 

The nations and world need dedicated and practicing non-partisan Christians, to lead the crusade for a "World Without War." This is by means of undying faith, relentless effort and fearless witnessing of the Word of God - in prayer and action. 

We should not be deceived to believe in building military arsenals - weapons can not make peace because weapons can not win the war. It is true that people or nations win battles, but only God can win the war - because the war is not material. 

THERE IS   GOD

For this reason we have to acknowledge God, and submit to him in obedience and prayers for peace in our hearts, peace in our countries, and peace in the world. And when it happens the people would no longer groan, and ask: "Where is God? Where is God?". Instead, they would rejoice, and shout: "There is God! There is God" Amen!  As it is written:  "How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is none like you; we have always known that you alone are God." (2 Samuel 7:22).
