CHRIST CURES CORONAVIRUS

 Prelude

The corona virus infection, now battering the whole world, still has no effective cure. Although vaccines are being developed, tested and administered, the virus is also mutating into different and more dangerous strands. Now, the time has come for the world to revisit the biblical cure for the incurable disease (Numbers 21:8-9). The reason is that this cure is even more effective in the New Testament than it was in the Old Testament. By understanding the infinite merits of the Crucifixion - which replaces and perfects the metal snake on a pole (John 3:14-15) – the world would be willing and ready to apply it as a cure for Corona virus and other afflictions of our time.

You may be asking: where were you, Godman, when the Pandemic broke out?  See how many people have died! Do not blame me - it is not my fault, neither is it the fault of God. The truth is this: the Lord who said, "I thank you, Father, because you have shown to the unlearned what you have hidden from the wise and the learned" (Matthew 11:25); had to wait until human beings have exhausted their scientific and technological knowledge, so that they may have enough reason to turn to God for salvation - mercy, deliverance and healing.

CHRIST CURES ALL SICKNESSES

THE SITUATION OF THE PANDEMIC

In fact, since the outbreak of covid-19 in late 2019, so many people have died of the virus. Due to the deadliness of the infection, the imposition of barrier measures paralyzed economic activities and many businesses shut or slowed down. Today many countries are experiencing hardships, and the global economy is in recession. According to WHO statistics the number of covid-19 cases and deaths in the world, as of December 11, 2021, are more than 268 million and 5.2 million respectively. The  US is hardest hit, with over 49 million cases, and more than 790.000 deaths. Meanwhile, the IMF has estimates that the world would incur, by the end of 2021, an accumulated economic loss of $28 trillion, being the fallout of the Corona virus pandemic.

Governments, medics, scientists and scholars joined heads and hands together in search for a cure. And the Church other religious bodies prayed for God to act, and take away the virus. Finally, there was hope, coming with the discovery and testing of several vaccines; some of which are now being administered – though, against the backdrop of uncertainty and controversy.

Now the recent emergence of the Omicron strand, which constitutes the third and most dangerous wave of corona virus is, again, putting hopes asunder. The Omicron variant first diagnosed in South Africa on November, 18, 2021, has since spread beyond the region, with cases reported in several European countries linked to travelers coming from South Africa. And the discovery of this new strand has provoked a wave of international response measures, including flight and travel restrictions. The new variant is also said to show few or no symptoms, and to spread very rapidly. As the pandemic continues to cause havoc in the world, the questions remain: Where is God? Why is he not answering our prayers?

 GOD HAS PROMISED YOU HEALING

Yes, God has promised to heal you, who are infected (Jeremiah 30:17) - his Word is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12), and he is faithful to his promise (Isaiah 55:11).

The truth is that God provided a cure for the Corona virus long ago - before it even broke out - that was the therapy of the metal snake on the pole (Numbers 21:8-9). In its present dispensation - which is the Crucifixion (John 3:14-15) - it is as effective to cure the corona virus as it was to cure the snake bite.

The therapy of the Crucifixion - drawing its merit from God's infinite love for the world (John 3:16) - works miracles and provides more holistic and manifold healing benefits than any material cure.

The following biblical facts give proof of the Crucifixion as God's instrument of healing:

1. God prescribes the contemplation of the metal snake on the pole as the cure against the deadly snake bite (Numbers 21:8-9).

2. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, affirms the therapy of the metal snake and prescribes his Crucifixion in replacement of the therapy of the metal snake (John 3:14-15)

3. Isaiah prophesied that the Crucifixion will heal and restore the world (Isaiah 53:5).

4. Jesus Christ invites those who are afflicted or laden to come to him for rest (Mathew 11:28)

5. The scriptures say that the Crucifixion is both the power and the wisdom of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18, 22-23).

6. The scriptures say that Jesus Christ, the Word of God, does not change - he is alive and active (Hebrew 4:12; 13:8); and that the Word is the Truth that sets free (John 8:32).

7. The scriptures say that Christ's death on the Cross is an eternal sacrifice (Hebrew 10:12), which sets you free from guilt and condemnation. (Romans 8:33-34).

Then it is written, "the people did not have rest because they did not believe in the Word of God, but those who hear the Word and believe shall have rest " (Hebrews 4:2-3).

Here is the Word of God you are receiving - the Truth that sets you free - if you die; then, it is your choice.

THE METAL SNAKE ON THE POLE HEALED SNAKE BITES

 THE THERAPY OF THE CRUCIFIXION

The Crucifixion is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18), the witness of his love (John 3:16), and the means of our salvation (John 3:16). Unfortunately, many Christians ignore, and even despise the Crucifixion - as it is written: "We despised him and rejected him; he endured suffering and pain. No one would even look at him - we ignored him as if he were nothing" (Isaiah 53:3).

Please, do not be deceived - it is true that the Crucifixion occurred 2021 years ago, but its spiritual dimension is live and active, until the end of the world. (Hebrews 10:12). If not; how can you plead the blood of Jesus today against Satan, if it poured out and dried off thousands years ago? How can you be saved today by Christ's death on the Cross, when not even your great grandfather was born when he was crucified? And how will the future generations of believers claim that Christ died on the Cross for them?

The Preparation for the Therapy

To go to Christ, do not put your problem first - it may become an obstacle on your way. Rather put your love for Christ first, by the confession and renunciation of your sins. Then when he opens your mouth to speak, you can tell him what you want him to do for you. Take the example of Bartimaeus, the blind man: "Son of David, have mercy on me" (he cried out 3x); then Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for?” "I want to see again", he replied; and his request was granted at once!

Christ is waiting to cure you, at no cost for you! All you need are your faith, confession and repentance - which profit you for much more than the healing of your body. But there are many people who have spent all their fortunes to buy health, to no avail!

If you believe the scriptures, just think about this: if those who were bitten by the deadly snake looked at the metal snake on the pole and were healed, how much more would those infected by corona virus be healed, by looking at Jesus Christ on the Cross!  This is not a mere analogy - Isaiah has prophesied (Isaiah 53:5) and Christ has said it (John 3:14-15). If you believe in the Word; then, look up to Jesus Christ on the Cross, and receive your healing.

The Administration of the Therapy

Here is the remedy for the incurable disease, which God has prescribed for all time, to all who believe in him. In fact, anyone can take it, in any place and at any time. All you have to do is to (1) Believe (2) Repent (3) Confess and (5) Venerate - in order to get the reward of the Crucifixion; which is (5) Salvation (Deliverance, Healing,  Restoration etc).

The lack of concentration and attunement may be a major limitation to your Christian spirituality. You have to engage in prayers with all our physical, emotional and spiritual faculties, focused on God. Remember that everyday you strain and sweat to do your work, to meet with peoole, to solve your problems, to eat and drink - and even to please your body. Why can you not also tax your strength, your mind, your heart and your soul; in order to encounter God who, has given you all the spiritual and temporary faculties for free?

The scripture says: "Love God with all your mind, strength, heart and soul" (Mark 12:30-31; Matthew 22:37); and God condemns lip service and religious formality, without love (Isaiah 29:13) The Oxford English Dictionary defines "love" as "an intense feeling of deep affection (fondness)" towards someone.

This is how you attune to the Crucifixion, in recognition of God's love. This reciprocation of God's love works great miracles because the Crucifixion is the greatest expression and gift of God's love to the world (John 3:16; 15:13-14; Romans 5:8). And for this reason, the Crucifixion is the open-door into God's love (Romans 8:32) and presence (Matthew 27:51-52; Hebrew 10:19-20).

THE CRUCIFIXION CURES CORONA VIRUS

The Practical Exercise

Choose a quiet place - in a church, garden or at home; and do not rush. Sing a song of mercy, repentance or adoration, from the depth of your heart - as you focus wholly on the wounds, blood, pains and agony of Jesus Christ on the Cross. Keep renouncing your sins and crying out for mercy - at a certain moment he will prompt you, just as he asked Bartimaeus, "What do you want me to do for you?" (Mark 10:51-52). Then you can tell him what you want, "Lord, cure me of (name) "

+ Let us pray:

Lord, have mercy on me; Christ, have pity on me.  (5x)

(i) Plead for mercy, while looking at the image of the Crucifixion (you may stare at a bleeding Crucifix or watch an image or video of the Crucifixion).

(ii) Then, close your eyes, and sing a song of worship, adoration or repentance to relax and concentrate.

(iii) Mentally begin to contemplate and concentrate steadily on the image of the Crucifixion.

(iv) Acknowledge, proclaim and venerate,  the Crucified Christ - in truth and humility, and with passion and compassion - that it was for your sins that he was crucified, and for your sake that he died and resurrected.

(v) Present and offer yourself to him - as a sinner - in total repentance, submission and surrender.

(vi) Sincerely confess and renounce your sins - call them by their names, and as many as you may remember.

(vii) Tell him your decision to abandon your sins, and your desire to live a holy life in union with him, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Ask for his grace to transform your soul, so that your life may flourish in his love, and shine in his glory.

(viii) Remain mentally focused, and with passion and compassion, on the image of Crucifixion. Perceive the agony, blood, sweat, water, heat, anguish and groans of Jesus Christ on the Cross. Let his blood, sweat and water sprinkle, drip down and wash you, as you kneel virtually beneath the Crucifix - under his feet.

(iX) Then begin and continue to proclaim, his Death on the Cross and his Resurrection from the Dead, to:

* Cancel your sins and punishments for your sins;

* Cancel all pagan and satanic sacrifices you have ever offered;

* Break all pagan and satanic covenants you have ever entered into;

* Save your soul and your life;

* Seal you, with his Blood in the New and Everlasting Covenant of God.

+ Let us pray:

* From every sickness and pain, deliver me Lord Jesus.

* From every captivity of sin, deliver me Lord.

* From every accusation of sin, acquit me Lord.

* From every attack of Satan, defend me Lord.

* From every danger and adversity, shield me Lord.

* From my sickness, disease, and infirmity (name them) deliver me Lord (5x).

* Heal me, O Lord, and restore my life (5x)

Ask more, according to your  situation  and your needs.

(x) Finally, Invoke the intercession of the Virgin Mary (John 2:2-5), Mother of Christ and of the Church (Revelation 12:17), by praying five Hail Marys, in memory of his five deepest wounds on the Cross (in his palms, feet and side) .

(xi) If you are sick do the exercise five times a day; and after every three hours. For the purpose of prevention, do it two times a day -  in the morning and in the evening. This spiritual exercise takes between ten and fifteen minutes only.

(xii) After nine days offer Mass and /or make a sacrifice or an act of charity, to somebody in need, and as an act of Thanksgiving to God.

The ordinary duration of the therapy of the Crucifixion is nine days; and may be repeated indefinitely. What is sure is that after the ninth day - having experienced the manifold benefits of this spiritual exercise - you would not want to stop doing it. If you are a Catholic, go to confession before the first day, and offer a Mass of Thanksgiving on the ninth day, or not too long after.

CHRIST PAID FOR YOUR PRICE ON THE CROSS

Take Note

1. Healing begins from the soul : your body, spirit and life, cannot really be healed if your soul is not united with God - pure and holy. Mercy is the healing of the soul.

2. Your soul cannot be united with God if your sins are not forgiven, your soul cannot be one with God if it is stain with sin, it must be pure and holy.

3. When your soul is cleansed and healed then you are united with God, and physical healing and all the goodness and favors of God manifest: that is the meaning of the scripturs which says: with God, all things are possible (Mark 10:27).

4. For your soul to be cleansed made pure and holy, it must be bathed in the blood of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 7:14-15).

5. God's love is most powerfully and abundantly expressed on the Cross - Jesus's desire to save souls reaches its climax, and God's mercy is poured out without measure (Luke 23:34,39-43). In his agony Jesus Christ is eager to open heaven to whoever wants to enter. This is the mystery and the means by which the veneration and confession of Jesus Christ Crucified works miracles for those who believe, and seek his salvation.

 6. The therapy of the Crucifixion is not an experiment or a test for God - it is an engagement to live with God. The scriptures say, "Don't put the Lord, your God to the test" (Matthew 4:7). If you are not seeking to live in Christ, do not do the exercise; remember, the Crucifixion is a curse for unbelievers (Galatians 3:13).  But for the seekers of the kingdom of God, the therapy of the Crucifixion breaks the power of sin, and overcomes temptations - as the practice strengthens the desire for holiness. It is a sure means of to conversion.

7. The Crucifixion is a pre-condition for salvation to come through Jesus Christ. It is not the belief in Jesus Christ per se, but the belief in Jesus Christ Crucified that gives eternal life - the life of God. Thus, the rejection or contempt of the Crucifixion is  contradictory to the belief in Jesus Christ as Savior (John 3:14-15).

The Catholic Church instituted the feast of the exaltation of the Holy Cross on September 4, following the experience of St Francis, who in contemplating the Crucifix on Saturday, September 4, 1224 - beheld a Seraph, came down on him and left him with the Stigmata of the Crucified Christ.

The Benefits of the Therapy

The first thing to note is that the therapy of the Crucifixion is used both for healing and for the prevention of sickness. A medical cure may heal one part of your body, but it will leave another; it may cure one illness in your body, but it will create another. But the therapy of the Crucifixion will heal first your soul; and then everything in you and about you - physical, spiritual, emotional, material and immaterial - will also be healed!

In fact, the Crucifixion is the actual weapon which God used to defeat Satan (Colossians 2:15), and all his trials, temptations and afflictions. Its benefits, therefore, are not limited in nature, time or space. They include: healing, deliverance, restoration, and much more.

Warning

Note: The practice or administration of the Therapy of the Crucifixion is not a license to disregard or violate the covid-19 prevention measures. For the scriptures say, "Do not put the LORD, your God, to the test” (Mathew 4:6-7; 1Corinthians 10:9).

 Conclusion

Please, do not judge me, who has written this article and prayer for you to read and practice: I did not die for you - only Jesus Christ did. And he is the author of both this article and the prayer.

The Therapy of the Crucifixion can do much more than cure the Corona virus, but I do not have enough time and space in this post to write everything In a future post I will write on, "How the Crucifixion Delivers You". But before then, do your part by sending us your testimony about the healing power of the Crucifixion - it will be published, for the benefit of others and to the glory of God.

Disclaimer: The Therapy of the Crucifixion is a purely spiritual treatment, based on faith - It does not oppose the use of any medical therapy.
